Molly’s Curated Edit: Secret Restaurant Finds

Known for her impeccable eye for design-led travel, Molly Cooper—founder of Curated Spaces—has a gift for uncovering places that go beyond the expected. While she’s best known for curating beautiful boutique stays, her talent for discovering unforgettable dining spots is equally impressive.

In this feature, Molly shares a personal shortlist of her most memorable restaurant finds—places where food, setting, and storytelling come together to create something truly special. From farm-to-table feasts in rustic barns to countryside hideaways serving wood-fired dishes under the stars, each recommendation offers an experience that’s as atmospheric as it is delicious.

We also had the pleasure of interviewing Molly about the evolution of Curated Spaces and the power of intentional travel. She also shared a curated edit of her most inspired stays.

Oxmoor Farm

Just outside London, this regenerative farm and restaurant feels like a world away from the city, offering incredible tasting menus served at long trestle tables in the wonderfully restored old barn.

In the summer, you eat outside sat on hay bales with a view over the surrounding farmland. The food is unfussy but exceptionally thoughtful, with dishes that highlight the flavours of peak-season ingredients cooked simply, often over fire. Whether it’s a plate of just-harvested vegetables, homemade charcuterie, or slow-cooked meats with rich, earthy depth, the focus is always on letting the ingredients shine.

Updown

Updown is a little slice of magic tucked away in the Kent countryside. While the guesthouse itself is stunning, it’s the restaurant and garden dining experience that makes this place a must-visit.

Think wood-fired cooking and natural wines all enjoyed under an actual vine (yes, this is England and not Italy!).

Whether you're stopping by for an infamously brilliant Sunday lunch or a pit stop on your way to the coast, Updown is not to be missed.
