A Home for Craft and Creativity
Set within the atmospheric Palazzo Donizetti at Via Gaetano Donizetti 48, this year’s L’Appartamento takes residence in a 19th-century architectural gem. With its soaring ceilings, intricate frescoes, and elegant elliptical staircase crowned by an ornate wrought-iron balustrade, the palazzo offers the perfect canvas—rich in history, layered in style—for an immersive showcase of Italian design.
The building itself tells a story of aesthetic fusion: Renaissance symmetry, Baroque drama, and Liberty-era delicacyintertwine throughout the interiors, offering a fitting backdrop to an exhibition that bridges eras and disciplines.

Six Rooms, Six Visions
Inside the palazzo, six globally renowned design studios—1508 London, Champalimaud Design, Meyer Davis, Nebras Aljoaib, Romanek Design Studio, and Simone Haag—each breathe life into a distinct room, transforming them into intimate, expressive environments that celebrate Italian craftsmanship.
Their curated interiors reflect personal interpretations of style, culture, and emotion, unified by one theme: the artisanal mastery of Italy’s finest makers. From hand-carved marble tables and intricate blown-glass lighting to contemporary ceramics and bespoke upholstered pieces, every object on display is a tribute to the enduring value of craft.
The result is a journey through six spaces that are as diverse as the designers themselves—each room a dialogue between heritage and innovation, restraint and flourish, local tradition and global sophistication.

A Decade of Artemest
As Artemest marks ten years of championing Italian artisans and elevating their work to an international stage, L’Appartamento becomes more than an exhibition—it is a living, breathing manifesto. It invites visitors to step beyond the boundaries of gallery and showroom, into the heart of the home, where craftsmanship is not simply admired, but lived.
With this third edition, Artemest reaffirms its commitment to cultivating beauty, nurturing talent, and preserving the legacy of Italy’s rich design culture for generations to come.
