This year, The Greenhouses is honouring Afternoon Tea Week with a Middle Eastern-inspired twist on the beloved British tradition. Available exclusively for groups of 14 or more, the Afternoon Tea Experience is served within the venue’s signature private greenhouses, combining the charm of English tea culture with the bold, vibrant flavours of the Middle East.
The experience begins with a curated selection of delicate sandwiches served on the restaurant’s much-loved challah bread. Expect standout pairings such as pomegranate-cured salmon with fennel and rose harissa crème fraîche, and roast marinated beets with labneh, truffle honey, and dukkah brittle — a feast for both the palate and the eyes.
For the sweet course, The Greenhouses’ patisserie team delivers a refined yet indulgent selection of treats. A spiced fruit scone is served alongside fig and molasses jam, offering a rich twist on the classic. Other showstoppers include the Valrhona chocolate délice infused with Turkish delight, cardamom, and vanilla cream, and a dreamy rose pavlova with saffron chantilly, mango and peach syrup. Every bite is delicately crafted, paying homage to the flavours and aromas of Middle Eastern cuisine.
