Founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife team Angus and Charlotte Buchanan, the studio has quickly established itself as one of the most compelling creative forces in British design. Headquartered in West London, Buchanan Studio balances commercial artistry with handmade craft. The Daydream Collection: Stainless Steel, Reimagined
Crafted in England, the Daydream Collection explores the surreal and sculptural qualities of stainless steel. Known for its clean, reflective character and strength, the material has been central to Buchanan Studio’s creative vocabulary since the beginning. With Daydream, the studio leans into its ethereal, architectural potential, delivering pieces that blur the line between furniture and functional art.

The Daydream Shape Table
Available in geometric square, circle, or triangle variations, with tops in stainless steel, oak, or marble. The triangle is a particular innovation, designed to nest between two armchairs perfectly.

The Daydream Studio Ottoman
Reimagined in polished steel with a honed top and sculptural curves, handcrafted by artisans in England.
The Daydream Muse Table

This collection also features rare marble options, including Pink Norwegian Rose, Black Horse, Calacatta Viola, and the statement-making Valla Verde, alongside dark and light-stained oak finishes.
Tessellate: USM x Buchanan Studio
In a bold new collaboration launched in May, USM and Buchanan Studio present Tessellate – a graphic, high-functioning reinterpretation of the iconic USM Haller system.
USM is a fourth-generation family business, originally founded in Switzerland in 1885. In 2001, its modular system was formally accepted into MoMA’s Architecture and Design collection. The eleven-piece collection transforms functional modules into expressive design objects through Buchanan Studio’s signature mix of tactile luxury and visual wit.
Angus commented, “Tessellate is inspired by the principles of tessellation, exploring repetition, symmetry and adaptability,”

Statement graphic panels in BS Pink, a Buchanan Studio-exclusive finish.

Kiss Side Table, Desk, and Bar Trolley available with marble surfaces in Calacatta Viola, Norwegian Rose, and Black Horse.

Interior & Set Design: From Couture Sets to Private Retreats
Buchanan Studio also offers a full interior and set design service, designing everything from landmark commercial installations to private homes. With a project-led approach and rich creative narrative, the studio has conceived immersive experiences for major fashion houses, retailers, and cultural institutions. Their interiors balance bohemian romance with intelligent architectural structure.
They've also built fantastical event worlds and cinematic installations—from surreal fashion campaign sets to lavish one-day-only celebrations that feel like stepping into a dream. These works, however ephemeral, leave lasting impressions.
