For the first time, Daniel Arsham has translated the visual language of his labyrinth sculptures into the world of jewellery with the release of the Labyrinth Pendant. This limited edition work is far more than an accessory—it is a wearable sculpture that carries the weight of Arsham’s artistic practice into an intimate, personal scale.

Sculpture in miniature

The pendant takes the form of a female bust, recalling the timeless beauty of ancient Greek statuary. Yet, as with much of Arsham’s work, the classical form is interrupted, destabilised, and reimagined. Staircases twist into unexpected corners, doorways open to nowhere, and miniature figures seem to navigate the terrain as though caught within a dreamlike architectural model. The piece becomes a narrative object: a figure inhabited by space, history, and imagination.

Cast in bronze using the same processes that Arsham employs for his large-scale sculptures, the pendant maintains the integrity and gravitas of a full artwork. By distilling monumental gestures into a hand-sized piece, Arsham creates a new way for his collectors to experience his art—close, tactile, and deeply personal.

Craft and individuality

Each Labyrinth Pendant is hand-finished and patinated in Arsham’s studio, ensuring no two works are alike. The surface itself becomes a record of making, with textures and variations that cannot be reproduced. A sterling silver chain with a rhodium finish completes the piece, its subtle sheen enhancing the raw materiality of the bronze while echoing the interplay between permanence and transformation that defines Arsham’s practice.

This individuality makes every pendant not only a part of a limited edition but also an entirely unique artwork, a singular piece of sculpture that each owner will carry with them.

Packaging as art

Arsham extends his sculptural thinking beyond the pendant itself into the experience of its presentation. Each piece arrives in a custom box inspired by a Japanese bento case, lined in suede. Designed to be reused and lived with, the box resists the throwaway nature of packaging. Instead, it becomes an artwork in its own right—a sculptural container that adds another layer to the narrative of the pendant.

A rare edition

The Labyrinth Pendant is strictly limited to 250 pieces and will never be produced again, reinforcing its status as a collectable work of art. For Arsham, this project represents both a continuation and a new chapter: a way of distilling the immersive world of his sculptures into an intimate, personal object.
